GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM NEW YORK - 1998-2001 (FRANK GEHRY)

This project, designed by Frank Gehry, was to be twice the size of his Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, allowing the Guggenheim to dramatically increase its programming in New York.  It was conceived as cascading clouds floating over the East River, backed by a tower that pays homage to New York’s skyscrapers.
